Your answers to the assessment questions, which are processed to generate your results. Your first name, which personalizes them. Your email address, which we ask for before your results so we can send them to you. A few words in your own voice, if you choose to type them, which we weave into your Life Signature Sentence.
Before your results we also ask your year of birth, your postal or zip code, and optionally your gender. Gender is optional and you can skip it without losing anything.
If you purchase the assessment, payment is handled by Stripe under their own privacy policy. We never see or store your card details. If your access came free through an organization’s link or code, there is no payment and no payment data at all; we simply record which organization’s code was used.
We store your finished results, including your name, your answers and your sentence, on our servers. This is what makes your product work: it powers the private link in your email, lets your results reopen on any device, and keeps your PDF reports available. Your link is long and unguessable, and only people you share it with can see it.
We email you your results link and both PDF versions of your report. Your address also receives follow-up emails from Benjamin Windle related to your results and his work. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing never affects your access to your results.
We never sell your individual information, and we never disclose your individual results to an employer, church, school or sponsoring organization. If an organization gave you free access, your results are still yours alone: they go to your email, not to them.
We use trusted service providers only to operate and deliver the assessment: payment processing, website hosting, email delivery, and the AI service that helps write your sentence. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
We keep research records of assessment outcomes together with year of birth, postal region, and optional gender, stored against a scrambled code rather than your email address. We use these records to study, improve, and report on how life signatures differ across ages, places and seasons of life, and we may publish, license, or commercialize insights, reports, and datasets built from them.
Anything we share or sell this way is aggregated and de-identified: it describes groups and patterns, never you, and cannot reasonably be linked back to you. Your name, email address, and individual results are never part of it.
We don’t sell your individual information. We don’t share your answers or your results with anyone else, including any organization that gave you access. We don’t use your answers to make decisions about you.
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email. You can ask us to delete your information, including your stored results and the research record, at any time by emailing bw@benjaminwindle.com.
